
Seth M. Evetts, D.D.S.
Dr. Seth Evetts grew up in Newcastle and graduated from Newcastle High School. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in Microbiology in 1998. Dr. Evetts then spent several years in the Immunobiology and Cancer Research department at Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation where he co-authored three scientific research articles in the Journal of Immunology, American Journal of Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology, and Cellular Immunology. Dr. Evetts graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2006.
Awards and Achievements: 2006 Herbert T. Shillingburg, Jr. Award for top clinical dental student in Restorative Dentistry, The Dr. William S. Kramer Award of Excellence for top academic student, Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, Honors Program in Pediatric Dentistry at OU College of Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry 2006 Certificate of Merit Student Award, American Academy of Periodontology 2006 Dental Student Award, American Association of Orthodontists 2006 Dental Student Award, American Association of Endodontics 2006 Dental Student Award, Academy of Operative Dentistry 2006 Dental Student Award, International Congress of Oral Implantologists Sullivan-Schein Dental 2006 Pre-doctoral Achievement Award.
Dr. Evetts founded Contemporary Family Dentistry, in Newcastle, where he practiced for many years. After his departure, he began his solo practice, Cedar Springs Dental in Tuttle, OK in 2024. He believes in the importance of doctor/patient relationships and appreciates working in a family dental practice environment. In Dr. Evetts' spare time, he enjoys watching OU football, Thunder basketball, trips to the beach or mountains, fishing, and spending time with is wife, daughter, friends, and family.
